Only certain key data is part of your HealthInfoNet record. This includes:
- Medicines ordered by your doctor (prescriptions)
- Lab results
- X-ray and other test results
- Conditions, diagnoses, or problems
- Data to identify you. This data is to make sure that health information is entered into the correct record. You may be asked for your social security number, but it’s your choice to share it or not.
Certain data is not part of your HealthInfoNet record. This includes:
- Information created by a substance abuse facility
- Information created by your mental health provider
- Results of HIV tests
Only your medical care team can see your health record.
They must provide ID and a correct password to view your health record. Any time someone views your information, the system keeps track.
