Enrollment

The MEREC has reached its enrollment target of 1,000 primary care providers. However, additional spots may become open and the MEREC is keeping a list of interested providers.

The MEREC enrolled both independent providers as well as partnered with large health care systems to enroll providers in their affiliate practices. For providers affiliated with these larger systems, program services will be delivered by the health care system themselves with support from the MEREC. If you are employed by a hospital or health system and unsure about whether you are enrolled, please contact us.

Providers working in an independent practice work directly with the MEREC and enroll in one of two ways. Providers without a certified EHR, can contract with one of our preferred EHR vendors to implement an EHR. Or, providers with an EHR that need assistance meeting meaningful use criteria can contract with our selected Implementation/Optimization Organization vendor.
