At the conclusion of the demonstration phase in 2010 there were 15 hospitals and one multi-site primary care practice participating in the health information exchange. New providers are in the process of joining all the time, with all of Maine’s hospitals and the majority of Maine’s primary care physicians expected to be participating by 2015.
